Summer Intermission

The following article has photos from my time between the United Kingdom, Ireland and the USA. Although I had fun exploring Claire’s hometown with her family and friends in England, and seeing other parts of the UK, especially Newcastle, I wasn’t really clued into adventure mode in my time there like I was earlier in Vietnam or when cycling across Japan. This time, I’m simply presenting some of my favorite photographs with less context than usual in my essaying.

After a month together there, Claire returned to Japan, and I visited Ireland briefly as a layover before a month’s stopover in New York and its neighboring states. If I can, I try to do a yearly pilgrimage to visit my old besties along the east coast. And lastly, before making a return to Japan for another autumn with Claire in Tokyo, I was in the Seattle area for a week doing a similar ritual. I’ll be back soon with more a full writing and account of my escapades during that time.
